HAPPY VALENTINES!!! (WITH ALL MY HEART :))
Well, it’s here again! The one holiday of the year that’s never made any difference in my life. Please don’t think I’m being cynical, I don’t want you lovers (I’m wagging my eyebrows here) out there to think I’m trying to dampen the day for you. Please enjoy yourselves. I don’t have much to say on this topic, it’s never really had any significance in my life. I just find the escapades some people get up to, to be wildly entertaining. In any case, because tis the season it is, I feel like everyone is channeling their inner Casanova/ don Juan / Romeo/ Shakespeare, I thought I would get in the spirit anyway and pen something of my own. (Sort of.) Here goes:
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Valentines is here again,
Couldn’t give a hoot!
There! What do you think? Pretty good huh? Ha-ha, kidding! Kidding! I couldn’t resist. (chalk it up to the bitterness of having no plans) Still for all of you out there who have plans for this specific holiday and are enjoying it, I want to wish you happy holidays! (See, I told you guys didn’t I? That the next time I talked about the holidays it would be a different one? Yeah :)) That said, please indulge me one last hilarious jab as I write off.
