Everyone wants to be rich

It is human nature to want to possess something in large quantities where possible particularly when it makes you feel good. That is why whether we admit it or not we want to be rich. It is very sad that society has corrupted this desire that encompasses more than just a piece of paper, coin or bar to mean just that. People forget that the desire in truth is not for the money but for what it brings.
Assume that life is a flower. The petals are the money. They get you what you need…the bees which are investors, benefactors, connections or whatever you’d like to call them. While that is important, there is also the stem, that supports you and puts you in a position to attract what you need. The stem includes all the experiences, knowledge, skills and talents you have or have acquired. Then comes the most important part of the flower which is the roots that support everything and which are necessary for the other parts to optimally function…and that is the desire to possess i.e. passion. It consists of the intangible parts or part you cannot see that give you the drive to go for what you want. The stronger the roots, the more vibrant the stem and flowers.
There are those who desire to be rich in faith, others rich in experience others rich in possessions others in knowledge and wisdom. The world is a mountain filled with riches that we as humans are drawn to retrieve just as moths are drawn to light. When a person stops leaning on other people experiences, beliefs and values to shape their own and starts searching for their own way to quench that desire to be rich in whatever it is that is in line with their purpose then money happens effortlessly.
Everyone has their own purpose. Everyone has their own path to take. Your desire to be rich should not be informed by what’s without but what’s within. In fact, when you so earnestly desire to possess ask yourself, why? Because, if it is something as superficial as just a piece of paper or coin that exists as a means, then you are not doing yourself justice because the money was created for you not you for the money. Remember though that you were created for a purpose and if you want to be happy, you need to understand why you do what you do.
You need to identify the roots in your life because it is only then that you will be able to maximize on returns for every effort you make.
