Expectations

I want a lot of things. I think I’ve said this in multiple posts over time. There is no limit to the things I want. Hence, I have concluded that the shortest route to this position (of being able to have what I want, when I want, and how I want) is to be a billionaire. And as such, that is my goal and my dream.

I find it interesting that most people would blush at the idea of boldly making such a claim with all seriousness. But honestly speaking, why put a lid on your dreams? Why have any limitations at all? What would be the point of having the ability to think and imagine above and beyond what you have now, but then limiting yourself to small things?

I read a quote recently that said:

Have dreams so big that you are afraid to talk about them with small minded people.

And I agree. I always say, if you are working with a medium that allows you to do more than what you are usually capable of, then go all out. I.e. if you are going to wear a wig, why stick to the one with the same shape and length as your natural hair, or even put the same haircut you normally have on it? Or even have the same color? Explore! Do something different with it that you normally wouldn’t do with your own real hair. Otherwise what’s the point? All you’re doing is selling yourself short, if you ask me. Especially if you spent tons on something that looks like the same ol’ thing.

And I believe the same concept applies to your dreams. What do you want? Say it and accept it and know it. And best of all, even if you don’t tell another soul about it because they wouldn’t understand, work for it. That way even if you miss the moon, you still land among the stars. Isn’t that a better way to think?

(shrug) See you guys next post!!! 🙂
