To Be Happy
- Have no fear. For the One that stands behind you is greater than the problems before you.
- Love yourself. You can never truly love others if you do not love yourself…. besides you are already beloved by the Almighty God.
- Don’t be too content with where you are in life. Life has too much to give to miss out after all God gave you life to enjoy all things and not all things to enjoy life. Be ambitious but not greedy. Be determined to succeed and work because God will bless the work of your hands. And He will establish your dreams for you if you let Him
- Be content with what you have. There will always be people with more or less than what you have; people doing better or worse than you.
- Do not compare yourself to other people. Everyone has their individual walk in life. No two people have the same experiences because they are custom made by God for you to achieve your purpose and goals in life. Comparing yourself will only make you vain or bitter. Instead, use their experiences as lessons; that is wisdom.
- Do not try to be like other people. You can emulate them but do not try to be them. You are unique in your own right. Just like fingerprints there never was nor can there ever be anyone like you. You were created in the image and likeness of God; be proud!
- Be respectful to all you meet and be civil to all you do not like. Because everyone you meet comes into your life for a reason; even if the meeting is brief. It is never an accident.
- Do not worry when you do not understand the purpose of someone in your life. It may be that you are the one to bless them!
- Do not expect much from people. That way when they do something, you will never be disappointed.
- When you find that person you can sit in silence with without feeling awkward, that person you talk to effortlessly and that person who understands and respects your moments of silence, keep them close. That is a friend.
- Think about what you are putting into a relationship as opposed to what you are getting. Happiness is not a solitary feeling. It is a result of your own as well as of those you care for the most.
- Smile! You have no idea how handsome or beautiful you look! There will always be someone amazed by you; God being first…what greater joy is there than that!
