Opportunity

I was assigned a task by my superior the other day and I wasn’t happy about it. The task had nothing to do with my day job and was far more cumbersome. So I  sulked for a while debating if I should deliberately fail at it.

My personality however cannot tolerate failure so I started researching anyway. soon, in the process I discovered a solution that not only served the purpose but also allowed me to satiate one of my ambitions.

Just like that the task  had become an opportunity. And in additions, guys actually had a blast. If I had never attempted to do the task, then I would have lost the opportunity as well.

So today I wanted to add my weight behind Thomas Edison’s words…

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
