KEEPING THE FAITH – Trying to kick procrastination

I finished my units last semester. I’m so happy. I love the freedom of not having to be in class. I still have a year left to complete my project and attachment, so it’s not like I’m completely free. And therein lies the problem. They say you should use this time, and by that I mean attachment, to get yourself into the line of work you want.

The problem is, I have no idea what I want to do. Honestly. All I know is I want to be rich. It doesn’t really matter what type of company I end up in as long as it’s making me wealthy. That’s the thing about business administration. (That’s my degree course) is I can work virtually in any field.

But because I can work anywhere, it’s hard for me to make up my mind about what I want to do. I don’t feel strongly about anything. My friend (i keep  telling her she could make truck loads of money, because her advice about this kind of stuff, CV writing and how to achieve goals, is on POINT, because she’s done…. a lot) has been helping me and while she didn’t hand me the solutions to my problems on a silver platter, she, and a lot of other people too, have helped influence and kinda solidify the mirage i had of my future.

I watched this video recently, never mind that it was a fashion video about finding your own style and commandment one was know how you want to feel first. Then figure out what it is, whether qualities, occupations or even possessions you would need to have in order to feel that way. Okay, the girl, a fashion correspondent and blogger also made another video about how to get what you want, so maybe that the video i’m tapping into here… but no matter, it was still her.

Getting what you want is a lifestyle. It doesn’t happen in the flip of a switch. You need to do the little things day to day that will accumulate in the long run to get you where you want to be in the future.

Pretty simple, but … PROCRASTINATION & LAZINESS !!!! I’m sick. I’m comfortable. I don’t want discomfort.  But you cant grow when your comfortable.

I watched another video recently about how to kick procrastination; step one, break down the big stuff into small tasks. Maybe that’s where i’ll start. Fellow lazies, cross your fingers for me. God help me!
