Today I attended a church service in support of a colleague who lost a child. The experience was surreal, I noticed the beautiful ushers and the colorful decor. I noticed the parent’s composure and the Full church. I noticed my own composure and numbness.

they wanted to celebrate a life, not Mourn it.

All the while, I wondered…how do they cope. It was not an expected death. It was sudden and violent. Now, hours later, my heart weeps for them. I feel a depression creeping in. by the end of the weekend the child will be buried and all that will be left are the memories.

Cherish you dear ones. No matter how hard it is…cherish them.

I have this one person who I think I hate. At some point when I was younger and they had power over me, they chose to mistreated. I have held a grudge ever since. Countless times, I wished that the sky falls on their heads.
