Opportunities don’t last

Recently, I got an opportunity to travel to Germany. It was my first time there and I was very excited. Also, it was a great surprise to me.

There is this perception I have, that ‘German made’ goods are superior in general and so I frantically tried to buy as many things as possible. Unfortunately,  I ran out of Money… 🙁 , then got anxious which somewhat dampened what should have been a very enjoyable trip.

WHY?

Because in my mind, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I needed to exploit it fully and running out of money mean’t that I would have to forego some stuff which made me Unhappy.

I think, I was wrong.

If we consider how many  opportunities we have had in our lives already, we’ll realize that although they come for a time, they are endless (Confusing?)

This is what I mean;

Specific opportunities will be available for a specific limited time. But over our lifetime various opportunities will come to us. (Better?)

I have decided to live in the moment and appreciate and enjoy my opportunities while they last. And when the moment passes, to take a deep breath, relax and thank God.

After all, Opportunities may not last, but they come again and again.
