Christmas

Ahhh….The long-awaited holidays are here and everything seems right in the world. Christmas is usually about fun and friends, drinking and partying but- is it really? Christmas is said to be the day Jesus Christ was born. Now if we think critically about this, we realize that we may not be doing the right thing. So what is the right thing?

Usually on our birthdays, our loved ones do things to please us since they are basically appreciating our existence in their lives usually by getting us gifts- but wait if that is true, then isn’t it only right that we should do the same for Jesus Christ?Now, i understand that there is not a gift in the world that could ever be worthy of God but that is why, if we are celebrating Jesus Christ’s presence in our lives, we should do things that please Him. Things like sharing and giving. Spending quality time with God and talking to Him in humble prayer.

I imagine most of you think i mean lifting your hands up and groveling a whole day before the most high and ideally, that is how it should be, but God wants you to be free with Him. Be respectful to Jesus Christ at all times but also be sincere ,obedient,open and free. God loves you and will listen to you as long as you are sincere, respectful and humble before Him, He will listen to your prayers.

God will draw closer to you if you draw closer to Him. Christmas may not be the actual birthday of our Beloved King Jesus Christ but if we are going to take it as such, we might as well do it right. So guys don’t forget to wish God a happy birthday and sing to Jesus Christ from the heart a happy birthday song and share with your loved ones. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. God bless you all:)
