Be respectful and civil to all you meet even if you do not like them. Because everyone you meet comes into your life for a reason; even if the meeting is brief. It is never an accident.<\/p>\n
There are people I have nothing in common with. There are people I cannot for some reason have effortless conversations with because I just can\u2019t seem to find anything to talk to them about. There are those who rub me the wrong way unintentionally. There are also those who I get along with so effortlessly and who just rub me the right way; And they are all people I meet and have to interact with.<\/p>\n
Through the numerous interactions, I\u2019ve had I realized that even those who don\u2019t like you or your enemies will respect you if you are fair in your dealings with the people you meet. Because you cannot do all the things for those in your life due to preference, the one thing that you can give is understanding that they too are important. Maybe not to you but to someone else. So be polite because you would not want you or those important to you to be disrespected. I can count the number of times I\u2019ve wished lifelong toothaches on people and that was when they disrespected those who matter to me.<\/p>\n
Finally, do not worry when you do not understand the purpose of someone in your life. Sometimes you have people who feature prominently in your life and you can\u2019t seem to figure out what value they add to it. For such people, it may be that you are the one to bless them! It may be a hard thing to do, but remember that it\u2019s a small world besides which is better?
